Hi, I’m Pold.

I build software that runs in my own home – on my own hardware, without cloud or subscription. And I share it.

Most projects revolve around local AI, Home Assistant and tabletop game nights. Six of them work hand in hand: the Poldion family.

What I build for

Local, not cloud

Language models, transcription, images and face recognition run on your own GPU. Your data stays at home.

For the game table

From recording the session to the world wiki to the map on the table TV: tools for game masters who love their group.

For the home

Doorbell, heating, smart glasses, voice assistant: small building blocks that make Home Assistant a little smarter.

Six projects that work on their own and form a whole together: the OllamaProxy provides the language models, WhisperNotes records the game night, BasaltNotes keeps the world wiki, ImageGen paints maps and tokens, Tabletop Forge brings it all to the table – and FaceRec tells you who is at the door.

Installation, settings, API and background for every project of the family – in one place and searchable.

More projects

Smaller projects, mostly for Home Assistant.

When software is not enough, I print the solution: cases for servers and electronics, the grid for the game table and plenty of holders for the Skadis pegboard. All models are on MakerWorld.
